Description

Nos 1 and 3 Silver Street is part of a large building that turns the corner from East Reach into Silver Street. This structure dates from the early to mid-19th century and features three storeys with painted brick fronts. The roof is slate with pantiles on the left side. There are six windows, including a curved sash window at the corner, with additional blocked window spaces. Most of the windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The building also has a variety of shop fronts, including one original shop front with panelled pilasters set into the corner. This building is included as part of a group with Nos 158 to 160 and Nos 3 to 7 Silver Street.
