  1. Including Nos 1 to 3 (consec) East Gate. Short length of terrace. Probably early C19. 3 storeys. White brick, partly painted. Moulded cornice to right, cornice band to left. Continuous parapet, Band over ist floor to right. 9 windows (one blocked), mostly sashes with glazing bars, Round headed archway in centre. Larger opening to left flanked by 2 C19 shop fronts under continuous dentil fascia. Variety of modern shop fronts,

Nos 30, 40, 40A, 41 and 42 form a group with Nos 1 to 3 (consec) East Gate.
