Description
19-44 Lower Park Street is a terrace of houses built in the early 19th century. The houses are constructed from gault brick and feature slate roofs. This uniform two-storey terrace includes a four-panelled door for each house, with a 6/6 unhorned sash window to the right (some of these sashes have been replaced with horned versions) and a similar sash window above. All openings are set under segmental gauged skewback arches. The terrace has a gabled roof with one ridge stack for each house. There are passageway doorways between Nos. 30 and 31 and between Nos. 38 and 39. At the eastern end, Nos. 43 and 44, dating from around 1830, are taller two-storey houses with two-window bays and a three-vaned fanlight above the four-panelled doors. The rear elevations have 6/6 sashes and remain largely unaltered. The interior has not been inspected.
