Description
Nos 33 and 34 on Jesus Lane are two houses that were built around 1840. They are three storeys high and constructed from gault brick, topped with slate roofs. There is a stone band at the cill level of the first floor and a cement band below the parapet. The building features six windows with flat brick arches and glazing bars. There are two round-headed doorways, each with two plain orders, plain stone imposts, and four-panelled doors that have ornamental metal fanlights. Many original fittings are still intact. The roof is not visible from the street. The property is enclosed by plain cast-iron spike railings with vases on the main stanchions. All the listed buildings on the south side of Jesus Lane form a group.
