Description

A terrace of four early 19th-century houses, located on East Green, Southwold. The houses are constructed of colourwashed brick with a hipped slate roof and three brick stacks placed irregularly. The facade is a two-storey, four-window arrangement, with a single-storey bay extending from the right end. The entrance to number 3 is through a panelled door set within a plain 20th-century doorcase in the right-end bay. In the centre of the terrace, a pair of panelled doors provide access, and a single door is located at the left end. Each house features one 6/6 unhorned sash window on the ground floor and four 6/6 unhorned sash windows on the first floor. The window openings to houses 4, 5, and 6 are covered by painted rendered skewback arches. The interiors of the houses have not been inspected.
