Description
This is a terrace of five houses located at 64 to 72 Rodney Street, built in the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. Each house has two bays, with a first-floor sill band and a top cornice. All windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows without glazing bars. The doorways for Nos. 64 to 68 and No. 72 are round-headed, while No. 70 has a straight-headed entrance with a wedge lintel. Each doorway is framed by a doorcase with foliated capitals on attached columns, and Nos. 66 and 68 have complete fanlights. All houses have five-panel doors, with the lower panel being round. There are plain iron area railings and a first-floor balcony. The left return of the terrace has three bays with mid-19th century balconies added to some windows.
