Description
Nos. 56 and 58 Rodney Street are a pair of early 19th-century houses. They are built of brick with stone dressings and have a slate roof. Each house has three storeys and a basement, with two bays. Features include a first-floor sill band and a top cornice. All windows have wedge lintels, and most are sash windows; the first and second-floor windows of No. 58 have glazing bars, while the second-floor windows of No. 56 have casements. The round-headed entrances are placed together and feature a Tuscan doorcase, with No. 58 having a complete fanlight above its panelled door.
