Description

This is an early 19th century terrace of two-storey houses on Friars Street. The front is of brick, while the rear structure is timber-framed and plastered. The terrace has a five-window frontage, with sash windows featuring glazing bars in the upper storey, set in plain reveals. There are three arched doorways, each topped with a fanlight. The roofs are slate-covered, with wide eaves. The front doors are L-panelled, with the exception of number 56. Numbers 24 to 28 (even) and 32 to 68 (even) form a group.
