Description

These are two early 19th-century buildings, numbers 66 and 68 Friars Street. They are a two-story terrace, each with two windows. The buildings are constructed of yellow brick with a slate roof; number 68 has a hipped end. The eaves are wide. The windows are recessed sash windows; number 66 retains some glazing bars and features wider three-light windows on the ground floor. The doorways have pilastered doorcases with small hood cornices. Number 68 has a six-panel door, and the windows have been altered. The buildings are set back and form part of a terrace that includes numbers 60 to 64. Numbers 24 to 28 and 32 to 68 form a group.
