Description

This is an 18th-century red brick building with a plastered and painted front, located on the north-west side of Friars Street. The building is two storeys high and has a tiled, hipped roof. An East end weatherboarded addition provides a carriageway and is roofed with sheeting. The front elevation features a wood modillion eaves cornice. It has a three-window range with sash windows, mostly with glazing bars, and a two-light window on the upper floor at the centre. The central doorway is topped with a simple open pediment supported by consoles, and contains a six-panel door. It forms a group with numbers 24 to 28 and 32 to 68 on the same side of the street.
