Description

No. 2 High Street, which also includes No. 1 New Street, is an early 19th-century brick corner building that is mainly colour washed and features a rounded corner. It has a slate roof with gabled ends and a brick dentil eaves course. The building stands three storeys tall and has two and four-bay elevations. The sash windows are fitted with glazing bars and have plain stone lintels. The ground floor of No. 2 High Street features an early 19th-century pilastered corner shop. This building is included for its group value.
