Description

This is a circa 17th century timber-framed house, later stuccoed and partly brick-faced. It is one storey and attic, with a three-window range. A large gable is situated at the centre, supported by small brackets. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with plain tiles. The house has a double pile plan, with two gables at each end. The windows are circa late 19th century, three-light casements with drip hoods on small brackets. The central plank door is protected by a pedimented gable hood, also with shaped brackets, and has an ovolo moulded door frame. A large brick chimney stack features diagonal shafts. Inside, there is an 18th century staircase with moulded balusters and square newels.
