Description

These are an early 19th century pair of red-brick houses on Chapel Street. They have a tiled roof with gabled ends and stuccoed eaves featuring dentil detailing. The houses are three storeys high and have three bays each. They contain sash windows, some of which are modern replacements but retain the original openings. The windows have glazing bars, and the lintels are plain. The central entrance has paired, moulded doorcases supported by console brackets, each topped with a cornice hood. One doorcase has a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars and a flush-panel door; the other has a new glazed door.
