Description

Roseville House is an early 19th century red brick house with painted stone dressings. It has a low-pitched slate hipped roof with wide eaves and a moulded eaves cornice. The two-storey, three-bay facade features sashes without glazing bars, each with a plain stone lintel. A band runs along the first floor cill level. The central first-floor window has a moulded architrave and entablature with a fluted frieze. A late 19th century splayed bay window has been added to the ground floor to the right. A central porch, originally with Tuscan columns supporting an entablature and a wrought-iron balustrade, is now glazed in.
