Description

The Morgan Library is a library dating to circa 1900, built in the Arts and Crafts style. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings, and has a tiled roof with stone coping to the gable ends. The building is a small, single-storey structure with an asymmetrical gabled front. It features a large, canted stone bay window on the left-hand side, and a central porch with a stone arch. The arch includes relief carving depicting boys reading, along with an inscription above. Brick chimney stacks are topped with stone caps. Inside, the library has a crown-post roof and an inglenook fireplace.
