Description

No. 75 High Street is a house with a shop, dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring stone dressings, and has a Welsh slate gabled roof behind a parapet, along with brick chimney stacks.

The exterior consists of three storeys and two bays. The ground floor has a late 19th-century shop front, which includes a two-light display window with recessed doorways at each end. It is adorned with panelled end pilasters, thin and deep mullions, and a thin fascia with a cornice. Above the shop front, there are plain end pilasters, sill band courses, a moulded cornice, and plain coping to the parapet. The windows on the upper floors are margin-pane sashes set in moulded stone architraves, with small brackets supporting the second floor sills.

The interior has not been inspected. This property is wider but otherwise similar to the adjoining No. 73.
