Description

No. 2 Queen Street is a shop premises, which has temporarily served as a bank, with a flat above. It dates from the late 18th century and has been modified. The building is rendered and colourwashed, featuring a clay pantiled roof that continues to the south and abuts to the north, along with a brick chimney stack.

The exterior consists of two storeys with an attic and is arranged in two bays. It has an earlier 20th-century shop front that includes two 2-light display windows and part-glazed doors at each end. The first floor has 2-light casements, and there are two 2-light flat-roofed dormers in the roof.

The interior has not been inspected. These premises are now integral with No. 71 High Street.
