Description

No. 1 Queen Street is one of a pair of houses in a terrace, built in the early 19th century. The structure is made of local stone rubble and features brick arches over the openings, with a clay pantiled roof that has coped gables and brick chimney stacks.

The exterior consists of three storeys and two bays. The ground floor bay 2 and the first floor have sash windows with four panes, while the second floor has sash windows with twelve panes, all in plain openings. There is a carriage entrance to lower bay 1, which has a three-centre brick archway that is partly filled with brickwork and features a pair of 20th-century doors. To the right of bay 2, there is an entrance door with six panels, set under a segmental brick arch.

The interior has not been inspected. The building has group value with No. 3 Queen Street.
