Description
Church View Cottages is a pair of cottages that were formerly three, likely built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from local stone that has been cut, squared, and coursed, and feature a thatched roof with end and intermediate brick chimney stacks. The cottages are single-storey with an attic and consist of six bays. The first bay has a boarded entrance door, while the fifth bay has a modern replica of the same door. Bays two and three contain three-light casement windows with exposed timber lintels, bay six has a similar two-light window, and bay four features a two-light casement window set under a segmental voussoired arch. Above the three and two-light windows, there are additional windows set into the thatch.
