Description
39 High Street is a house with a shop that dates from the early to mid 19th century. It has a rendered exterior with stone dressings, all of which are colourwashed, and the roof is not visible behind the parapet.
The building is three storeys high and has two bays. It features a cornice and moulded coping at the parapet. The shop front, which seems to be from the late 19th century with some modifications, includes panelled pilasters and console brackets supporting the fascia cornice. It has a four-light display window and a door with a rectangular fanlight to the right. The upper floors have plain sash windows set in plain openings, with exposed and moulded sash boxes.
Inside, the building appears to have been completely remodelled on all three levels, with no notable features remaining.
