Description

The monument to Anna Cradock, located in the churchyard about 30 metres south-east of the Church of St. Mary, is a chest tomb dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is made of dressed stone and features a moulded plinth. The oblong chest has corner urn pilasters and an oval panel on each face, with cherubs and urns in relief on the north and south sides. The hipped slab top is damaged, and while the inscriptions have decayed, there is a fragment visible on the south side that refers to Anna Cradock from the year 1827.
