Description

The monument to Anna Whiting, located in the churchyard to the south of All Saints' Church, is a chest tomb dating from 1700. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and features sunken square inscribed panels. The tomb has a plain frieze adorned with paterae, enriched pilasters that include memento mori, and a moulded plinth and cornice. This monument is part of a significant group of family chest tombs that showcase Renaissance details.
