Description

The monument to Robert Whiting, dated 1693, is located in the churchyard to the south of All Saints' Church. This chest tomb is made of limestone ashlar and features sunken square panels. The end panels are inscribed and arcaded, adorned with cherubs and figures representing Faith and Hope. It has a plain frieze, along with a moulded plinth and cornice. This monument is part of a significant group of family chest tombs that showcase Renaissance details.
