Description
The Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of rubble with a tile roof and features a brick and a rubble stack. The building is single storey with an attic and has a symmetrical facade with three bays. The front-facing gables to the attic contain 8-pane casements from the 20th century, while the ground floor has a similar casement and two 19th-century casements, along with a three-light wooden-mullioned window that has an ovolo moulding. The central door opening is framed in an ovolo-moulded wooden frame and features a plank door, with a 20th-century gabled porch added. There is also a single storey addition to the left of the main structure.
