Description

No 2 Rock Street is a house with a core dating from the 17th century, which was refronted in the 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble and has a colourwashed front elevation. The roof is covered with double Roman tiles and features coped verges, with the right side having a base for a finial and the left side having a low stack on a rubble base. The house is two storeys high with an attic and has three bays. It includes 3-light casements with cambered head reveals and painted brick voussoirs. The central door opening is recessed and features a 20th-century door. There is also a narrow attic light on the left return.
