Description

This is a road bridge, possibly from the 18th century, located in Charlton Mackrell, Cary Fitzpaine. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared. The bridge features a segmental arch made of voussoirs and has a very low parapet that is approximately 150mm high, which is slightly pointed in the center. A timber handrail has been installed on the north side.
