Description

Roselyn is an early 19th-century semi-detached cottage located on Broad Street in Charlton Mackrell. The cottage is constructed from roughly squared and coursed local lias stone, with clay pantiles covering the roof and brick chimney stacks at the ends. The south-facing elevation has three bays, although the first bay is a lower addition built later. Bays 2 and 3 feature 16-pane sash windows set in plain openings with dovetail end stone lintols. Bay 1 contains small-pane casements, and a glazed door is set within a deep reveal. The interior has not been inspected. Attached to the east gable is another property, East Lyn, which is listed separately.
