Description
This is a road bridge located 220 metres north of East Mellwaters Farmhouse, likely built in the mid-18th century and featuring a rebuilt parapet. The bridge is constructed of coursed rubble with a dressed stone arch. Both sides of the bridge are similar, showcasing a segmental arch with flush voussoirs that rests on a tall plinth made of squared stones. The bridge has a rising curved parapet topped with roughly-shaped, upright coping stones, and the ends are splayed.
