Description
The barn, yard wall, and shed located to the east and south of Levy Pool Farmhouse date from the early 19th century. The barn is constructed of sandstone rubble that is roughly squared and coursed, topped with stone flag roofs. It features two tall storeys and three bays. On the ground floor to the left, there is a boarded door set in a flat stone surround, with a central loading door above and vent slits to the right. A row of small square vents is positioned below the eaves of the low-pitched roof. The right return of the barn has boarded doors on both levels. The yard wall, which is about 5 feet high and has rounded coping, has fallen down in places. There is also a one-storey shed with a doorway in the south gable end and vent slits on the sides. The wall and shed are included for their group value with the farmhouse.
