(North side) Cross House and Church View

GV II

Pair of houses. Circa 1840 with later alterations. Tooled, squared rubble. Stone-flagged roof and stone chimney stacks. Cross House to left.

2 storeys. Wide 3-bay front with flush quoins to left. Central segmental archway and flanking doorways are a later insertion. Passage behind archway leads to rear. Replaced doors with flush lintels; right door with overlight. 16-pane sash in right bay; replaced bow window in left bay. Three 16-pate sashes above. Roof with coped gables and shaped kneelers. End stacks with top ledges and water tables.
