Description

The Grove’s mid-18th century forecourt wall and gate piers are constructed from squared rubble with ashlar gate piers. The low forecourt wall has a rounded corner on the right and is topped with a modern concrete coping. The pair of rusticated gate piers feature entablature caps and are surmounted by vases. The structures are included on the list for their group value.
