Description

Two early 19th-century houses are located at The Cross, Enderby. The houses are built of pale red brick with a slate roof and have brick chimneys at each side. The two-storey, three-bay facade has a slightly projecting central bay. The windows are flush sashes; the flanking windows have five panes each, while the lower windows have four panes each. The lower left window has been altered to a 20th-century paired wooden casement with bars. A 20th-century door is centrally placed. All window and door openings have cambered heads. A later bay to the rear of the left bay provides access to number 40 High Street. The buildings are included on the listing for their group value.
