Description

The Hollies is a late 18th-century house located on The Cross in Enderby. It is constructed of pale red brick on a granite rubble plinth, with granite also visible in the lower part of the rear wall. The right gable was rebuilt in brick during the 20th century. The roof is slate-covered, and brick chimneys are situated to the left and between the right bays. The house has two storeys and three bays. There is a double dentil course at first floor level and boxed wooden eaves. The windows are flush five-pane sashes with cambered heads. Traces of a blocked round window are visible on the first floor between the right bays. A 20th-century half-glazed door is set within a wooden architrave frame, and is sheltered by a cast-iron porch featuring scrolled panels, cresting, and a small hipped roof.
