Description
This is a single-track road bridge located 400 metres west of Town Head Farmhouse, on the road to Mickleton. It is likely from the mid-18th century and constructed of squared rubble. Both sides of the bridge are similar, although the arch on the east side is supported by later abutments. The bridge features a round arch made of roughly-dressed voussoirs and has a thin projecting band. The parapet slopes down on either side of the arch and is topped with roughly-shaped coping stones that have rounded tops, ending with squared boulders.
