Description
The lamp standards, railings, steps, and revetment walls at the United Reformed Church date from around 1860. They feature paired octagonal lamps mounted on metal standards and stone piers that lead up to the main entrance of the church. The original handrails are still in place, although there are modern double gates. The revetment walls of the churchyard extend along the street on both sides, constructed from random rubble with ashlar capping and a plinth course. The outer piers leading to the burial ground have sloping tops, and there is ironwork railing on the left side only. This structure, along with the Three Cups Hotel and No 34, forms a group with Nos 2 to 6 (even) Mantle Street.
