HIGH STREET 1. 1133 (North Side) No 27 and No 27a (Church View House) ST 5039 6/148 ST 5038 8/148 II GV 2. Probably mid C19. 3 storeys. Ashlar front. Cornice and parapet. Plain pilasters flank front. Stringcourses. 2 windows. Architrave surrounds. Sashes, no glazing bars. 3 round-headed arches with roll-mouldings to ground floor. Lower opening in centre for doorway with 3/4-glazed round-headed door. This property, including Church View House, continues to rear along east side of churchyard. 2 storeys. 5 windows. Variety of glazing. The listed buildings from No 25 to No 31 (North side) form an important group with No 2 Church Lane.
