Description
Westons is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of High Street. It is three storeys tall with an ashlar front that is partly colourwashed. The building features a parapet, a deep cornice, and quoin pilasters. There are two windows, which are sashes set in plain reveals with projecting voussoirs and glazing bars. The ground floor has modern double shop-fronts. The property extends to the rear along the west side of Church Lane and possibly dates from the mid-19th century. This section is two storeys high, constructed of red brick with a hipped pantile roof. It has four windows, one of which is blocked, and features sashes, with some glazing bars on the upper floor. The listed buildings from No 25 to No 31 on the north side form an important group with No 2 Church Lane.
