Description

This is an early 18th-century building on the north side of High Street, with alterations made at a later date. It is two storeys high and has a colourwashed exterior designed to imitate stone masonry. A prominent cornice and parapet top the facade, and the roof is covered in pantiles. The building originally had two windows, though this has been altered with projecting shop fronts beneath a moulded fascia featuring a scrolled crest displaying the number 15. The shop fronts have splayed windows with three lights each, curved tops, colonettes with foliated capitals, and small panes of glass. A dated panel in the front of the building reads "1713." A half-glazed door is located to the left. A wrought iron sign is fixed to a bracket in the centre of the building. The building forms a group with numbers 17, 17b, and 19 on High Street.
