Description

This is an 18th-century linhay located 18 metres south of Pool Farmhouse in Ashbrittle. It is constructed from random rubble granite and features a slate roof. The structure consists of three bays with unusually tall piers that have splayed bases. In the left-hand bay, there are remains of wooden rafters, suggesting that the ceiling of the shelter shed was originally higher and that the piers may have been shortened.
