Description
Pool Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse constructed from painted rubble with a slate roof. It features an external stepped stack on the left side and an attached staircase bay. The building has two storeys and is arranged in five bays, with the outer right-hand bay containing four light unglazed mullion windows that serve the cider cellar. The other bays on the first floor have two and three light casements, with sash windows and glaring bars flanking the entrance. There is a 20th-century casement window on the outer right and a small lancet window lighting the stair bay on the outer left. The gabled porch has a 20th-century door. Inside, there is a stud and panel partition with a blocked four-centred arch to the right of the cross passage. The interior also features chamfered beams with enriched stops and a winder stair located to the left of the fireplace.
