Description

The Old Parsonage is a house, originally dating to the 17th century and remodelled in the 19th century, now divided into separate dwellings. It is constructed with a rendered rubble ground floor and a slate-hung first floor, topped with a slate roof and flat eaves. The building has four chimneys on the ridge. The layout is a U-shape, with the main elevation facing south. It is two storeys high and has seven bays. The windows are timber-framed, with multi-pane glazing bars, some replacements from the 19th century, and are irregularly placed. An oriel window is located on the first floor to the right, above a later entrance. Second-floor garrets are lit by windows in the east and west gable ends. The main entrance is on the right return elevation (east).
