Group Of Outbuildings About 12 Metres North Of Abbey Farmhouse

This group of outbuildings, located about 12 meters north of Abbey Farmhouse, is likely from the 18th century. The buildings form a hollow square and are currently used as garages and stores. They are constructed from ham stone coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. The buildings to the west and north have double Roman clay tiles, while the other buildings feature plain clay tiles, all topped with coped gables. The south building, which is closest to Abbey Farmhouse, has three bays and gabletted finials on its copings. It includes a three-light ovolo-mould window in the south wall, which does not have a label, as well as garage doors. The other buildings match this simple style. This group is part of the 18th-century farmstead and enhances the setting of the significant farmhouse.
