Description
The Raymond Chest Tomb, located in the churchyard 7 metres south of the nave of the Church of St John Evangelist, is an early 17th-century chest tomb made of Ham stone. It features a moulded base with plain slab sides and ends, and a deep cyma recta mould coving leading to a flat top. This tomb commemorates John Roger Raymond, who died in 1636, along with other members of his family.
