Description

Canon Court is a detached house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of local stone with ashlar dressings, featuring a Welsh slate roof with coped gables and stone chimney stacks. The building has a complex layout. The north elevation, which has four bays, is two stories high; bay four is gabled. It has chamfered mullioned two-light windows with square heads and labels, with casement infills. A 20th-century window is located in the upper part of bay three, and bay four features a parapeted flat roof with a section of windows displaying a 1-3-1 light arrangement, partly glazed. A door is set within an elliptical arch, beneath a square label, within bay three. A matching double-gabled elevation faces the west roadside. The interior was not inspected during the listing process.
