Description

LOVINGTON CP ST53SE LOVINGTON VILLAGE 1/60 Unidentified monument in churchyard, about 6 m south-east of chancel, Church of St Thomas of Canterbury - GV II Chest tomb. Early C17. Doulting stone. Base and parts of sides buried; semi-circular arched panels, two each flank, one each end; very deep frieze with classical moulding and scrollwork decoration; deep cyma-recta coving to heavy hipped top. No inscription discernable.
