Description

Cedar Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating to around 1800. It is constructed of local lias stone with a Flemish bond red brick facade, and has a double Roman clay tile roof with stepped coped gables and brick end chimney stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high, and likely has an attic. It has three bays. The windows are horizontal bar casement windows; those in the outer bays have three lights, and the upper bay two has two lights, all with gauged brick flat arches. A lower 19th-century extension is situated against the south gable, with brick quoins to the stone walls. A clay pantiled lean-to is present at lower level on the north side. A boarded door with glazed toplights sits in the lower bay two, sheltered by a flat timber hood with shaped brackets. The north gable is rendered, and is the outshut to the rear. The interior was not inspected during the listing process.
