Description
The Lodge is a detached house dating from the 17th century, with modifications made around 1900. It is constructed from local lias stone that is cut and squared, with some sections banded in Ham stone, and features Ham stone ashlar dressings. The roof is covered with double Roman clay tiles and has coped gables, along with stone chimney stacks. The building is single-storey with attics and consists of three bays, where the outer bays have unequal sized projecting gables. The front features hollow chamfered mullioned windows, with a five-light window below and a three-light window above, both lacking labels but with a string course above the ground floor. The central bay has an early 20th-century part-glazed door, with a leaded casement dormer window above it. On the west gable, there are two ovolo-mould mullioned windows, each with two lights, leaded and featuring iron framed opening lights. The interior has not been seen.
