Description
The stable block to Penn Hill House, built in the mid-19th century, is located 25 meters northwest of the main house. It is constructed from cut and squared local stone, featuring plain ashlar Ham stone dressings around all openings, and has a hipped Welsh slate roof. The building is rectangular, two stories high, and has four bays. On the east side, all but the third bay have large semi-circular arched openings with double wooden doors. The third bay contains a narrow arched doorway with a radial fanlight that is now partly blocked, along with a modern window. The first floor loft has four semi-circular arched openings with wooden doors. To the north of the main building, there is a single-storey extension with a hipped slate roof, which includes a doorway and window that match the detailing of the main building.
