Description
No 80, Town House, is a town house built around 1820. It is constructed from ham stone ashlar and features a Welsh slated roof with coped gables and tall brick chimney stacks with stone cappings at each end. The main facade is two stories high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door, which is accessed by two steps and topped with a rectangular fanlight. This door is framed by a plain raised surround capped with a pediment. The building has a plinth and a band course, and the cornice appears to be altered by a later roof. The ground floor has twelve-pane sash windows, while the first floor features sixteen-pane windows, all set within moulded architraves. The east side of the building is rendered and includes a two-light casement window at the attic level, while the west side retains its stone facing. The interior has not been inspected. At the rear, there is a projecting staircase block made of brick with stone dressings and a hipped Welsh slate roof.
