Description

No 9 Great Ostry is a house dating from around 1800, constructed of limestone rubble with dressed quoins, coped verges, and a slate roof. This Georgian villa is two stories tall and features three bays. The central doorway has a plain arched head surround with a fanlight above and a glazed door, which is flanked by sash windows with glazing bars set in moulded stone architraves. The first floor has similar windows, and all sills are supported by moulded stone brackets. The left return also has three bays with similar architectural treatment.
